Abstract
In 2008, the Brazilian market for Endoscopes increased by nearly 11% over
2007. The Brazilian market for endoscopes includes ENT endoscopes,
bronchoscopes, urological endoscopes and GI endoscopes. Growth of the market
will be driven by Brazil' s large, aging population, rising purchasing power
and greater consciousness about health, the increasing prevalence of chronic
disease and cancer in the country, and the emergence of new technologies such
as HD.
