Abstract
This report presents market size forecast and recent quarter review of digital
satellite STB decoder chipset market volume, value, and ASP; also provides
market volume, share, and ASP by solution as well as market volume, share, and
chipset adoption by solution provider. The content of this report is based on
primary data obtained through interviews with digital satellite STB decoder
chipset providers. This report finds that the Taiwanese digital satellite STB
decoder chipset market saw double-digit sequential and year-on-year growth in
shipment volume and value in the second quarter of 2009. It is forecasted that
the second-quarter sequential and year-on-year growth in shipment volume will
continue into the third and fourth quarters of 2009.
