Abstract
With the upcoming peak season as well as the launch of CULV-platform products
and Windows 7 operating system, the global notebook PC market is expected to
see demand growth in the second half of the year. Nevertheless, as related
terminal products will not hit the market until the fourth quarter, it is
projected that consumers will hold a relatively conservative attitude towards
notebook PC purchase in the third quarter. Moreover, the strained supply of
key components is expected to affect the global notebook PC shipment volume,
too. This research will profile the key issues pertaining to demand and supply
in the global notebook PC market and analyze their influence on the market
