The Taiwanese Digital TV STB Industry, 2009 - 2013

Abstract

This report presents Taiwanese digital TV STB industry' s shipment volume and value per year for the period 2009-2013, with volume and value breakdowns by product mix. Also included are forecasts of Taiwanese digital TV STB ASP by product mix per year for the period 2009 - 2013 and the Taiwanese industry' s share of worldwide digital TV STB shipment volume and shipment value by product mix. The report finds that Taiwanese digital TV STB shipment volume and value are expected to see year-on-year growth in 2009. Taiwanese digital cable STB shipment volume is anticipated to account for nearly 40% of total Taiwanese shipments in 2009, followed by digital satellite STB and digital IP STB, and digital terrestrial STB. Meanwhile, the Taiwanese industry' s share of worldwide digital TV STB shipment volume is anticipated to grow steadily in 2009 and continue to grow through 2013.
