Abstract
With the increase in China' s Internet penetration rate and the growth of
average incomes in the country, the online shopping sector in China has been
developing strongly. This report analyzes the current development of China' s
online shopping sector, examining major historical milestones, future market
potential and competition trends. The report also analyzes the operations of
two leading companies in China' s online shopping sector: Taobao.com and Joyo
Amazon.
