Abstract
This report presents Taiwanese LCD TV shipment volume and value forecast, as
well as recent quarter review of shipment volume, value, ASP, shipment
ranking, and product mix. Also provides price trends, production locations,
shipment destinations, and business types. The content of this report is based
on primary data obtained through interviews with LCD TV makers. This report
finds that Taiwanese LCD TV shipment volume and value saw double-digit
sequential declines in the first quarter of 2009 as the consumer spending
slowdown caused by the global economic situation continued into the first
quarter. In the second quarter of 2009, it is anticipated that the industry' s
shipment volume and value will increase significantly and post strong
sequential and year-on-year growth rates.
