Abstract

This research report presents Taiwanese server motherboard shipment volume and value forecast and recent quarter review of the Taiwanese server motherboard industry. The report includes server motherboard shipment volume, shipment value, ASP, volume and share by maker and by price point, and manufacturer volume ranking. The report also includes shipment by CPU architecture and CPU count. Production locations, shipment destinations, business types, and customer portfolios are examined as well. The content of this report is based on primary data obtained through interviews with server motherboard makers. Shipment volume and value of the Taiwanese server motherboard industry saw sequential and year-on-year declines in the fourth quarter of 2008 and continued into the first quarter of 2009. It is anticipated that the server motherboard industry' s shipment volume and value will pick up and score sequential growth in the second quarter of 2009.
