Abstract
The report is devoted to research of current standing of caustic potash market
in the CIS and forecast of its development. The report is composed of 6
Chapters, contains 83 Pages, including 11 Figures, 40 Tables and 2 Appendices.
The first Chapter of the report presents data on method of obtaining caustic
potash and resources used, describes directions and volumes of the resources
supplies to producers of KOH.
The second Chapter of the report is devoted to analysis of production of
caustic potash from 1999 to 2007 in the CIS. The Chapter presents data on
volumes of the production, dynamics of manufacturing the product by
enterprises of Russia and Ukraine, describes current standing of producers of
caustic potash in Russia. Besides, the Chapter presents data on available
resources base, volumes of the production, plans on development of the
companies, as well as data on volumes and directions of the product supplies
for the latest years.
The third Chapter describes foreign trade operations in caustic potash in
Russia and Ukraine with analysis of volumes and directions of export-import
supplies.
The fourth Chapter is devoted to analysis of dynamics of changing prices on
caustic potash at domestic and export markets.
The fifth Chapter describes market of consumption of caustic potash in Russia
and Ukraine, with detailed analysis of pattern of caustic potash consumption
and its supply-demand balance. The Chapter reviews the main fields of
consumption of caustic potash, as well as describes the greatest Russian
company-consumers of the product.
The sixth Chapter of the report gives forecast of Russian market of caustic
potash development up to 2015.
The Appendix presents contact information on the main company-producers and
consumers of caustic potash.
This work is "desk" research, based on analysis of many information sources,
first of all, data of state bodies - Federal Service of State Statistics of
Russia (data on production), JSC "RZHD" (statistics of railage), Federal
Customs Service of Russia and State Customs Committee of Ukraine (data on
foreign trade operations). Besides, we used data of companies, as well as own
database of "InfoMine".
This all allowed the authors to write a story straight of standing of caustic
potash market in the CIS/Russia and its prospects.
