Abstract
The report is devoted to market research of silica white in CIS countries. The
report is composed of introduction, 5 Chapters and conclusion, contains 74
Pages, including 31 Tables, 16 Figures and 2 Appendices. The work is a desk
research. As informational sources, we used data of Rosstat (Federal Statistic
Service of Russia), Inter-State CIS Statistic Committee, Federal Customs
Service of Russia, Customs Committee of Ukraine, Russian domestic statistics
of railage, sectoral and regional mass-media, annual and quarterly reports of
companies, as well as web-sites of company-producers and consumers of silica
white.
The first Chapter of the report is devoted to description of technologies of
silica white production. Besides, the Chapter describes the main kinds of
resources used, analyses directions and volumes of their supplies to the main
producers of silica white in 2004-2007.
The second Chapter of the report presents the main requirements, imposed on
quality of silica white. Besides, the Chapter offers statistics of production
of silica white, considers current standing of company-producers, projects on
organising new productions. Forecast of production of silica white in
2008-2012, based on analysis of companies standing and plans of development,
is presented.
The third Chapter analyses data on foreign trade operations in silica white of
CIS countries, shows dynamics of changing volumes of foreign trade operations
in bulk and in money terms, estimates regional pattern of export and import,
as well as presents data on the main exporters and importers of silica white.
The fourth Chapter is devoted to review of prices on silica white. The Chapter
analyses dynamics of export and import prices on the product, as well as
presents data on changes of prices on various grades of silica white of JSC
"Soda" in 2004 - Q1 of 2008.
The fifth Chapter of the report presents supply-demand balance of silica
white, estimates regional and sectoral pattern of consumption of the product.
Besides, the Chapter gives description of standing of the main industrial
end-uses and the greatest company-consumers of silica white.
The Appendix for the report presents contact information on producers and
consumers of silica white.
