Silica Brick and Resources for Its Production: Market Research in Russia and Central Federal District

Abstract

The report is devoted to studying of market of silica brick in Russia and forecast of its development. The report includes 6 Sections, 122 pages, including 27 Tables, 16 Figures and 4 Appendices. The report is a desk study. As information sources, data of Federal Service of State Statistics (Rosstat), Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS), official domestic railage statistics of Ministry of Railways of Russia, data of companies, the sector and regional press, annual and quarterly repots of companies, web-sites of company-producers and consumers of silica brick were used.

The first Section of the report describes mineral resources base for production of silica brick its characteristics and reserves of the greatest deposits of the resources.

The second Section describes properties of silica brick, presents in details technology of production of silica brick and required equipment, statistic and estimated data on volumes of production of silica brick in Russia from 1999 to 2007. The Section also describes current standing of company-producers of silica brick and new projects on production of silica brick in Russia.
