Abstract
The report presents review of Russian market of hydrogen peroxide (technology,
volumes of production and the main producers, export-import operations, prices
review and pattern of consumption of the product). The report includes data
for 1998-2005 and the 1st half of 2006, as well as appraisal of prospects of
development of domestic market of hydrogen peroxide. The report contains 73
pages, including 26 Tables, 17 Figures and Appendix.
A feature of the market of hydrogen peroxide is steady growth of the demand
for the product in CIS and corresponding increasing volumes of its production
and import. Notice that all the production capacities are located in Russia.
Compared with 1998, volumes of production of hydrogen peroxide in the country
increased by 2005 in around 1.8 times, whereas volumes of the product imports
grew 4.3 times. Consumption of hydrogen peroxide in Russia in 2005 increased
almost 2 times compared with 1998.
Notice that Russia practically doesn' t export hydrogen peroxide produced.
Domestic prices on hydrogen peroxide in Russia steadily increase, with steady
growth of prime costs of the production (owed by growth of prices on power
resources, raw materials, etc.). Since 2004, decreasing import prices on
hydrogen peroxide in Russia is accompanied by increasing the export prices on
the product, whereas previously dynamics of average export and import prices
on hydrogen peroxide in Russia was approximately similar.
