Abstract
The report is devoted to investigation of current standing of titanium dioxide
market in the CIS and forecast of its development. The report is composed of 6
Sections, contains 94 pages, including 24 Figures, 29 Tables and Appendix.
The first Section of the report presents data on methods of production of
titanium dioxide and resources used, analyses directions and volumes of raw
materials supplies to the product producers.
The second Section of the report is devoted to analysis of production of
titanium dioxide from 1998 to 2007 in the CIS. The Section presents data on
volumes of the production, analyses dynamics of the product production by
enterprises of Ukraine and Russia, and describes current standing of producers
of titanium dioxide in the CIS. It presents data on available resources base,
volumes of production, plans on development of enterprises, as well as data on
volumes and directions of supplies of the product for the latest years.
The third Section of the report analyses foreign trade operations in titanium
dioxide in Russia and Ukraine with analysis of volumes and directions of
export-import supplies.
The fourth Section is devoted to analysis of dynamics of prices on titanium
dioxide at domestic and world markets.
The fifth Section describes consumption of titanium dioxide in Russia and
Ukraine, with detailed analysis of pattern of consumption of the product,
calculation of supply-demand balance of titration dioxide. Besides, review of
main end-uses of titanium dioxide is presented.
The sixth Section of the report presents forecast of development of titanium
dioxide market up to 2015.
Appendix presents addresses and contact information on the main
enterprise-producers of titanium dioxide in the CIS.
This work is a "desk" research, in the course of its preparation, we used many
information sources, first of all, data of state bodies - Federal Service of
State Statistics of Russia (Rosstat), State Statistic Committee of Ukraine,
CIS countries (figures of production of the product), JSC "RZHD" (statistics
of railage), Federal Customs Service of Russia and State Customs Committee of
Ukraine (data on foreign trade operations). In addition, we used data of
enterprises and own "InfoMine" database.
This all allowed authors to draw actual picture of standing of titanium
dioxide market in the CIS/Russia and its prospects.
