Abstract
The report is devoted to research of Russian market of solar cells and surface
application assembly units. The report includes Introduction, 5 Sections and
Conclusion, contains 66 pages, including 9 Tables, 16 Figures and 2
Appendices. The report is a desk research. As information sources, we used
data of Federal Service of State Statistics of Russia (Rosstat), Federal
Customs Service of Russia, Ukrainian Customs Service and f State Commettee on
Statistics, scientific-technical literature, sectoral, regional and
international press, as well as web-sites of enterprise-producers of solar
cells.
The first Section of the report describes the main principles of operation of
solar cells, presents the main their types. The Section describes, in
addition, the main fields of application of solar cells, analyses their
disadvantages and advantages.
The second Section of the report describes production of semiconductor silicon
for solar batteries. The Section presents description of current standing of
producers of semiconductor silicon of "solar" grade, as well as brief
description of technologies of "solar" silicon production.
The third Section of the report describes world production of solar batteries,
presents volumes of production of the products for the latest 10 years, as
well as the greatest producers of solar cells in the world and countries with
the highest level of solar energy development. The second part of the Section
describes production of solar batteries in Russia and CIS, the main
company-producers of solar cells, presents range of their products, analyses
dynamics of volumes of solar batteries production for the latest 5 years.
The fourth Section of the report is devoted to foreign trade operations in
solar cells and assembly units in Russia and Ukraine. The Section analysis
dynamics of Russian and Ukrainian export-import supplies of the products for
the latest 5 years in money terms and in total capacities, describes in
details directions of supplies, presents data on pattern of foreign trade
operations in solar cells and assembly units in Russia and Ukraine.
The fifth Section is devoted to analysis of tendencies of development and
prospects of world and Russian market of solar energy up to 2015. The Section
presents forecasts of leading experts in field of alternative energy onn
development of the industry.
Appendices present contact data of the greatest producers of solar cells in
Russia and Ukraine, as well as list of sources used.
