Abstract
The report is devoted to investigation of current standing of market of
wollastonite in the CIS and forecast of its development. The report is
composed of 7 Sections, contains 71 Pages, including 14 Figures, 20 Tables and
1 Appendix. The report is a desk research. As information sources, we used
data of Rosstat (Russian Service of State Statistics), Federal Customs Service
of Russia, Russian official domestic railage statistics, State Committees on
Statistics of CIS countries, sectoral and regional mass-media, yearly and
quarterly reports of companies, as well as web-sites of enterprise-producers
of wollastonite.
The first Section of the report gives brief characteristics of standing of
world market of wollastonite.
The second Section of the report presents data on deposits of wollastonite and
their reserves in the CIS.
The third Section of the report is devoted to technology of concentration of
wollastonite. Besides, the Section presents requirements, imposed on quality
of the commodity products.
The fourth Section of the report presents data on mining and production of
wollastonite in Russia and CIS. In addition, the Section describes current
standing of main wollastonite mining enterprises in the CIS. Besides, it gives
description of existing projects on production of wollastonite.
The fifth Section of the report analyses data on foreign trade operations in
wollastonite in Russia in 2001-2007 and Ukraine in 2002-2007. In addition, it
presents data on export-import prices on wollastonite.
The sixth Section of the report is devoted to analysis of domestic consumption
of wollastonite in Russia. In addition, the Section presents data on
directions and volumes of supplies of domestic wollastonite. Besides, it
describes end-uses of wollastonite in the CIS.
The seventh, final Section of the report presents forecast of development of
wollastonite market in Russia.
Appendix presents addresses and contact information on producers of
wollastonite in the CIS.
