Abstract
The report is devoted to research of current standing of market of stainless
pipes in CIS countries and prospects of its developments. The report is
composed of 6 Sections, contains 142 pages, including 46 Figures and 51
Tables. The report is a desk research. As information sources, we used data of
Russian State Statistic Service, Federal Customs Service of Russia,
Inter-State Committee on Statistics of CIS countries, State Customs Committee
of Ukraine, State Statistic Committee of Ukraine, sectoral and regional print
press, yearly and quarterly reports of companies, web-sites of producers and
consumers of stainless pipes.
The first Section of the report briefly analyses technology of production of
seamless and welded stainless pipes, resources for the production and presents
requirements, imposed on quality of stainless pipes.
The second Section of the report presents brief characteristics of standing of
world market of stainless pipes, data on production of stainless pipes in
Russia and Ukraine, as well as describes current standing of
enterprise-producers of stainless pipes in Russia and Ukraine, their nearest
plans, and new projects on production of stainless pipes in Russia.
The third Section of the report analyses data on foreign trade operations in
stainless pipe products in Russia and Ukraine in 2002-2007 and 1st half of
2008.
The fourth Section presents data on domestic and export-import prices on
stainless pipes.
The fifth Section is devoted to analysis of domestic consumption of stainless
pipes in Russia, describes the main end-uses of the products. In addition, it
presents supply-demand balances of stainless pipes in Russia and Ukraine.
The sixth, final Section of the report presents prospects of production,
foreign trade and consumption of stainless pipes in Russia up to 2015.
In addition, the report gives addresses and contact information on
company-producers and consumers of stainless pipes in the CIS.
