Abstract

The report is devoted to review of market of ethylene in the CIS. The report
has been prepared on the basis of careful analysis of data of Federal Service
of State Statistics Russia (FSSS Russia), Federal Customs Service of Russia
(FCS Russia), Russian domestic railage statistics, State Committee of
Statistics of Ukraine, State Customs Committee of Ukraine, State Committee of
Statistics of Azerbaijan, Inter-State CIS Committee of Statistics, Ministry of
Statistics and analysis of Belarus, as well as using own InfoMine database.
The report is composed of 6 Sections, contains 125 Pages, including 30 Tables,
35 Figures and Appendices.
The first Section of the report presents information on available technologies
of ethylene production, their features, required resources, their quality and
supplies to producers.
The second Section of the report is devoted to analysis of ethylene production
in the CIS. The Section presents requirements, imposed on quality of ethylene
by normative and technical documentation, statistics of ethylene production in
1999-2008, estimation of regional pattern of the production, and description
of the main producers of ethylene.
The third Section of the report is devoted to analysis of foreign trade
operations in ethylene in Ukraine and Belarus. Data on volumes of export and
import of the product are presented, as well as estimation of regional pattern
of the supplies.
The fourth Section of the report presents data on level of prices on ethylene
at Russian domestic market, as well as analysis of data on changing world
prices on the product.
The fifth Section of the report presents supply-demand balance of ethylene in
Russia and Ukraine, estimates sectoral pattern of consumption of the product,
analyses factors, which owe demand for ethylene at domestic market, describes
the main end-uses and company-consumers of commodity ethylene.
The sixth Section of the report is devoted to forecast of development of
production and consumption of ethylene in the CIS up to 2012 in conditions of
the financial crisis.
