Abstract
The report is devoted to research of Russian market of cement and forecast of
its development up to 2015. The report is composed of 6 Sections, contains 225
Pages, including: 20 Figures, 96 Tables and 2 Appendices. The work is a desk
research. As informational sources, we used data of Rosstat (Federal Statistic
Service of Russia), Federal Customs Service of Russia, official statistics of
railage of JSC "RZHD", sectoral and regional mass-media, annual and quarterly
reports of companies, as well as web-sites of company-producers of cement.
The first Section of the report presents estimate of standing of resources
base for cement industry in Russia. It presents data on reserves of cement
resources, regional pattern of their location, as well as data on resources
base of leading Russian producers of cement.
The second Section is devoted to cement production in Russia. The Section
offers statistics of the production in the country in 2002-2008, data on
regional and commodity pattern of the production, as well as on volumes of
production of cement by individual enterprises. Besides, the Section analysis
current standing of leading players at Russian cement market, including data
on pattern of ownership, available productive capacities, range of the
products, plans of the business development, directions and volumes of
shipment of cement.
The third Section of the report analyses data of Federal Customs Service of
Russia on foreign trade operations in cement in 2002-2008. It presents data on
regional pattern of export-import supplies, the main Russian exporters and
importers of cement.
The fourth Section is devoted to consumption of cement in Russia; it presents
supply-demand balance of the product for the latest 7 years, estimates
dynamics of changing "apparent" consumption of cement in the country. Besides,
the Section offers sectoral, commodity and regional pattern of cement
consumption in Russia, estimate effect of seasonality factor.
The fifth Section of the report is devoted to analysis of price conjuncture of
Russian cement market. The Section considers dynamics of prices on cement at
domestic market for the latest years, presents review of export-import prices
on the product, as well as forecast of price conjuncture of the market up to
2015.
The sixth, final Section of the report gives forecast of cement production in
Russia and Central Federal District, forecast of development of end-uses, as
well as forecast of consumption of cement in Russia in conditions of financial
crisis.
The Appendices offer contact information on producers of cement in Russia, as
well as existing classifications of cements and requirements imposed on
cements by State Standards.
