Abstract
The report is devoted to research of Russian market of float glass and
regional market of the product in Ural-West-Siberian Territory. The work is a
desk research. As informational sources, we used data of Rosstat (Federal
Statistic Service of Russia), Federal Customs Service of Russia, official
statistics of railage of JSC "RZHD", own database of InfoMine, sectoral and
regional mass-media, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as well as
web-sites of company-producers of float glass.
The report is composed of 6 Sections, contains 91 Pages, including: 16
Figures, 49 Tables and Appendix.
The first Section of the report presents brief characteristics of Russian
market of float glass.
The second Section is devoted to analysis of market supply. The Section offers
statistics of the production of float glass in Russia in 2000-2007, estimates
regional pattern of the production, describes the main Russian producers of
float glass.
The third Section analyses foreign trade operations of Russian companies in
float glass. It presents data on volumes of export and import of the product
in bulk and in money terms, estimates regional pattern of the supplies,
presents data on volumes of supplies of the glass by leading Russian exporters
and importers of the products.
The fourth Section of the report presents supply-demand balance of float glass
in Russia in 2000-2007, estimates regional and sectoral pattern of consumption
of the product, analyses factors, which owe demand for float glass at Russian
domestic market.
The fifth Section, devoted to price analysis, presents data on dynamics of
average prices of Russian producers on float glass for the latest 7 years, as
well as dynamics of average consumer' s prices on the product. The Section
presents analysis of the export-import prices, as well as forecast of the
market price conjuncture up to 2015.
The sixth, final Section of the report is devoted to forecast of demand and
supply at market of float glass in Russia in 2008-2015. On the basis of
forecast of commissioning new capacities and modernizing existing ones, 3
scenarios of the forecast of float glass production up to 2015 have been
prepared. Besides, forecast of consumption of the product is given, taking
into account forecast of development of the main end-uses of float glass.
The Appendices offer contact information on the main Russian producers of
float glass.
