Abstract
The repot is devoted to analysis of development of Russian market of asphalt
mixes and forecast of its development in conditions of the financial crisis.
The report is composed of 7 Sections, contains 91 Pages, 41 Tables, 16 Figures
and Appendix. This work is a desk study. As information sources, we used data
of Rosstat, Federal Customs Service of Russia, Russian domestic railage
statistics, sectoral and regional press, yearly and quarterly reports of
companies, as well as web-sites of company-producers of the products.
The first Section of the report presents brief characteristics of the
products, available classifications of asphalt mixes and requirements, imposed
on their quality.
The second Section is devoted to analysis of resource base for production of
asphalt mixes. The Section presents data on volumes of production of the main
resources components (bitumen, broken stone, sand, mineral powder) both in
Russia as a whole and by leading enterprise-producers, regional pattern of the
components production. Besides, requirements, imposed on quality of resources
for production of asphalt mixes are presented.
The third Section of the report describes applied processes of production of
asphalt mixes, presents classifications of the production methods and their
typical flow sheets. The Sections describes leading suppliers of equipment for
production of asphalt mixes to Russian market and presents characteristics of
the offered equipment.
The fourth Section of the report analyses production of asphalt mixes in
Russia for the latest 9 years, presents dynamics of production of various
types of asphalt mixes, estimates regional pattern of the production, and
describes leading producers of the products.
The fifth Section of the report, devoted to price analysis of, presents
dynamics of average purchaser' s prices on of asphalt mixes in Russia in
2000-2008, estimates rates of the prices growth and presents current prices on
asphalt mixes of various grades of some Russian company-producers.
The sixth Section of the report describes current standing and prospects of
development of road facilities. It presents data on existing classifications
of motor roads, their length in the country as a whole and with breakage by
regions, type of coating, designation, etc. Current problems of the road
network are described, and data on planned volumes of building, repair and
reconstruction of motor roads up to 2015 are given. Besides, effect of the
current financial crisis on the road building sector is estimated.
The seventh, final Section presents forecast of production of asphalt mixes in
Russia up to 2015.
The appendix presents contact data on leading Russian producers of asphalt
mixes.
