Abstract
The China motion controls industry in 2006 experienced an exceptional growth
rate of 24.9% which is significantly higher than the growth rate of worldwide
motion controls market. The rapid growth was linked to strong increases of
machine tool and textile machinery market in 2006.
The China motion controls market has reached $410.2 million in 2006. Though
Chinese suppliers (excluding Taiwanese suppliers) only made up about 10% share
of the total market in 2006, they have potential to increase their share in
the motion controls market. With many of these local companies new to
international market participants, some of the operating differences between
Chinese and international suppliers are compared in the report.
Estimated 2006 market shares for motion controls suppliers to the Chinese
