Abstract
Production revenues for electronic end-equipment in China have increased by an
estimated 23.2% (23.4% for the 46 product types that are already included the
2006 report) in 2006. Further high revenue growth is predicted in this market
for the next five years. In 2011, the aggregate revenue for selected 51
electronic end-equipment types in China is projected to reach about $740
billion. Highest growth is forecast for the industrial electronic equipment
sector with a CAGR of 12.6% for the period 2006 to 2011.
Chinese manufacturers are trying hard to enhance the level of automation
within their factories and expand their production capacities. This is driving
high growth in both market consumption and production revenues for the
industrial electronic end-equipment sector. Chinese market and production
revenues for both the computer & office equipment and consumer electronic
end-equipment sectors are also forecast to increase significantly during the
forecast period. All of these sectors represent a solid growth prospect for
semiconductor and component suppliers to the Chinese market.
This report provides a comprehensive overview of the Chinese electronic
end-equipment market for five electronic equipment sectors including 51
equipment types. It provides estimates and forecasts for market shipments and
production in China from 2005 to 2011 (units and revenues). Brief commentaries
for each equipment type, covering the major trends, forecasts, and
assumptions, lists of major suppliers and manufactures in China for each
equipment type and detailed profiles of 31 leading Chinese electronic
equipment suppliers, including the estimated semiconductor spend of each
company are also provided.
Analysis of Chinese Eleventh Five-Year Plan, related industry planning and
policies, and their impact on electronic end-equipment markets and analysis of
variance of market and production between previous and current edition are
also included in this report.
This research will be an essential tool to help semiconductor suppliers,
component suppliers, and other interested companies, to target their resources
in the Chinese market effectively.
