Abstract
INTRODUCTION
IMS Research has produced many reports on the motor drives market since 1994,
including annual studies of the low voltage AC & DC drives market. This
proposal represents the beginning of IMS Research' s second dedicated report on
the medium voltage motor drives market, having published the first edition of
the study in 2005.
The base year for the study will be 2006. Estimates for 2007 will be made
based on the first three quarters sales and forecasts for the market will be
presented for the period 2008 to 2011.The report will also present detailed
regional market share tables, in addition to the total worldwide market shares
found in the last study. For purposes of this research, medium voltage drives
will be defined as motor drives utilizing voltages greater than 690V.
The purpose of this document is to invite companies to pre-purchase the study.
