Abstract
INTRODUCTION
IMS Research has produced many reports on motors and related equipment, such
as motor drives, motion control, small motors, geared motors and large motors
and generators since 1994. The last studies dedicated to low voltage AC
inductions motors were published in 2004 and 2003 for the EMEA and North
American markets respectively. This document proposes a new worldwide study on
the AC induction motor market broken into three volumes; EMEA, Americas, and
Asia Pacific.
Revenue and unit data will be collected for 2006 and 2007. Forecasts for the
market will be presented for the period 2008 to 2012.The report will present
detailed regional market share tables. For purposes of this research, low
voltage AC inductions motors will be defined as motors rated 690V and below.
