Description
IMS Research has had LED Driver IC reports since 2005 and LED reports for
longer. The research for this report included over 40 interviews including
most major LED driver IC competitors.
The difficult economic situation is considered in the report.
The report contains market shares of top LED driver IC vendors such as
National Semiconductor, Texas Instruments, Macroblock and Toko.
Also, there are forecasts by regions including Japan and China.
In addition, there is focus on key areas such as lighting, mobile, notebook,
TV and automotive.
The report considers key questions, for example: To what extent will driver
circuits be integrated into PMICs/ LMICs? Will the 2009 market size for LED
driver ICs be higher or lower than in 2008? And by how much? What are the
rankings of suppliers (from 1 to 10)?
The report also contains information on OLED driver ICs and OLED power ICs. A
key area here is how much traction will there be in Active Matrix OLEDs used
