Abstract
This Manufacturing Insights update is the third in an ongoing series of updates
on sustainability and "IT for green" as part of our Emerging Agenda program.
This document provides a summary of meaningful events, trends, and/or case
studies related to sustainability initiatives in the product life cycle and the
supply chain, with an emphasis on IT' s supporting role. We' ll also discuss
recent compliance changes (either voluntary or regulated), new products and
capabilities from IT vendors, and major announcements from manufacturers on
their sustainability progress.
