This report focuses on the study of the global nickel markets. It provides
region analysis on nickel production. It features major nickel producers,
prices, supply and demand conditions, international trade, etc. The review
also includes future outlook of the world nickel market.
Nickel is a hard,
strong, corrosion-resistant malleable and ductile metal that is a good
conductor of heat and electricity. Its most important use is in steel alloys
where it imparts strength and toughness. It is also widely used in plating,
both metals and plastics, and combined with copper in cupro-nickel alloys.
