Abstract
The North American facial aesthetic market, including sales of botulinum toxin
(BTX), hyaluronic acid (HA), particle and polymer fillers (PPFs), and collagen
products in the US and Canada was worth near $800 million in 2007.
The primary driver of North American market growth was expansion within the HA
market segment, fueled by the successful launch of Juvederm by Allergan into
the US market in January 2007.
