Abstract
The Asia Pacific peripheral vascular (PV) device market comprises revenues
from the sale of PV stents, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA)
balloon catheters, embolic protection devices (EPDs), inferior vena cava
filters (IVCFs), aortic stent grafts, synthetic surgical grafts, and PV
accessory devices in China, Australia, South Korea, India, Taiwan, and the
rest of Asia Pacific (ROAP)
The PV device market was valued at over $235 million in 2008, as illustrated
in Exhibit 1, and will continue to expand over the forecast period because
continual adoption of endovascular procedures by physicians will drive unit
sales throughout the region
