Abstract
Energy is a concern for all countries in the world. To reduce both the auto
industry' s dependence on oil and pollution caused by car emission, many
countries are seeking alternative energies to diversify their vehicle fuels.
CNG is one of the most important alternatives. 60 to 70 countries in the world
are currently engaging in the CNG R&D. There are about four million vehicles
in the world using CNG as fuel, and China has 97 thousand. This renders huge
room for the development of CNG filling machines. Even though, the current
development of CNG vehicle filling machines lags far behind that of CNG
vehicles.
The latest statistics shows that there were 80 cities in 30 provinces,
autonomous regions and municipalities that encouraged and supported the
development of natural gas vehicles. Most stations are concentrated in places
close to natural gas fields like Sichuan province, Chongqing, Urumchi, Xi' an,
and Lanzhou. In these places, gas sources are close and gas price is low (only
about 40 percent to 50 percent of oil price). These favorable conditions
constitute the major force that drives the development of CNG vehicles in
these places.
There are at least 20 CNG filling machine manufacturers in China. Famous
enterprises in the industry include Beijing Chang Kong, Jinxing Hongyi, Huaqi
Houpu, Chongqing Silian, Chongqing Innova, Shenzhen Yaweihua, Zhenzhou Kelin
Oil, and Zibo Boshan Green-Energy. Currently, some of China' s domestic brands
of CNG filling machines, like Beijing Chang Kong, and Chongqing Innova, have
developed their own product series. The localization rate for CNG filling
machines has reached 87.65 percent. But on the whole, China' s CNG filling
machine industry is still in the assembly stage. The country has not yet
possessed independent intellectual property rights for core components and
parts of CNG filling machines. Basically, China depends on import for these
core components and parts. And this situation will remain so for a long time
to come.
It' s a global trend to replace oil with NG as the auto fuel. China is no
exception. NG vehicles have been heavily promoted and more NG stations built
in urban China. China now has one model zone of carbinol vehicles, four model
cities of power-engine vehicles, and16 key cities where NG vehicles are
heavily promoted. There' re 97.2 thousand NG vehicles and 355 NG stations
across the country, substituting 1.3 million tons of oil every year and
obviously improving the air quality of the model cities. CNG vehicles are
currently gaining momentum and will be widely promoted and applied in the
coming years. This provides huge room for the development of CNG fueling
machines.
The number of vehicles in China increases dramatically by more than 1 million
a year. Under the ' Eleventh Five-Year Plan' , new clean-energy vehicles have
been listed in the National Medium- and Long-term Programs for the Development
of Science and Technology. The central government will continue to develop
natural gas in a large scale and accelerate pipeline network construction to
make it possible to develop CNG and gas stations.
China CNG (compressed natural gas) filling machine market analysis is an
invaluable asset for anyone who wants to invest in the compressed natural gas
market, to import into/from China, to build factories in China, to partner
with one of the key Chinese corporations, or to compete in the segment. The
report provides in-depth analysis and detailed insight into the compressed
natural gas market, market drivers, key enterprises and their strategies, as
well as technologies and investment status, risks and trends. The compressed
natural gas segment will create huge opportunities for investments, market
shares, partnerships, and jobs.
