Abstract
Overview
This report provides information on domestic equipment manufacturers including
each company' s sales, current capabilities, supply chain dependencies, and
strategy for technology development. The report contains profiles of the major
domestic companies in China, including equipment offerings for semiconductor,
solar cell, and LED manufacturing.
Collaboration between semiconductor manufacturers and domestic equipment
companies is taking shape inside China. Fabs are forming alliances with
domestic equipment companies to develop domestically built equipment and
domestically-developed process recipes and lower equipment costs. In certain
cases, collaboration is in support of 65 nm process technologies.

Methodology
In person interviews were conducted with 15 equipment manufacturers in China.
In-depth company interviews included validation with input from local
semiconductor manufacturers, industry associations, government agencies and
other industry sources within China.
