The active safety systems market is still in its infancy and is fragmented
with a plethora of opportunities and many potential risks. Current commercial
arguments for suppliers to develop active systems are still somewhat tenuous.
The major markets in Europe and the US are significantly different and there
is little prospect of them converging in the near future.
