It should be noted that there are significant differences between the Global
Insight forecast data and that supplied by OICA because of weight and sector
anomalies. Global Insight figures have been adjusted to exclude bus / coach
chassis and to remove double counting of CKD (completely knocked down) and SKD
(semi-knock down) vehicles, produced in one plant and assembled in another,
that may be in the OICA data. It also reflects production from 6.01 tonnes
rather than OICA segmentation.
