Abstract
This report examines China' s macroeconomic trends, investment environment,
epoxy resin industry structure and capacities, production and demand, enduse
market consumption trends, distribution channels and industry participants.
Long-term forecasts for major epoxy resin production and demand are included.
The report contains over 25 tables and 31 charts. Key epoxy resin producers
and major epoxy resin end user are listed and profiled.
Most primary and secondary research is done in China in order to access
up-to-date market information and industry data. Data was collected from the
telephone interview, Chinese government publications, Chinese official
website, China' s official statistic organization, Chinese chemical online
databases, Chinese epoxy resin industry associations, and epoxy resin industry
publications. Interviews are conducted with Chinese epoxy resin experts,
university professors, and epoxy resin producers in China.
Historical data include 2001 and 2007. Long-term development trends are
projected to the years 2012 and 2017. Economic models and quantitative methods
are applied in this report to project market demand and industry trends.
Metric system is used and values are presented in either yuan (RMB, current
price) and/or US dollars. Exchange rate refers to the real-time exchange rate
published by China Central Bank. The word "demand" is used interchangeably
with "consumption". Totals may not add due to rounding.
