Abstract
Due in large part to home improvement television shows and increased
visibility in consumer and trade magazines, more and more Americans these days
are realizing the many possibilities and benefits of molding and trim.
In addition to adding elegance and personality to a room, molding and trim can
add value to any home or commercial building. It can make a room appear wider,
lift and accent a ceiling, highlight a floor covering, decorate a wall, turn a
bookcase or stairway from bland to chic, as well as hide small defects in a
room.
