Abstract
The market for IP set top boxes has continued to grow as more telcos deploy
video services and those services gain subscribers. New box vendors have
entered the market, while there has been consolidation among others. The
important box features have not changed from last year and remain HD, DVR, and
digital terrestrial tuners.
The report contains five-year worldwide forecasts broken down by region for
unit shipments, ASPs, revenues, HD box unit shipments, DVR box unit shipments,
and DVB-T integrated box unit shipments.
