Abstract
This report consolidates forecasts of sixteen consumer electronics product
groups in three categories of products-personal computers and peripherals,
consumer electronics products, and communications products. These forecasts
have been used during 2007 in a wide variety of In-Stat reports, but the
forecasts for each product have been extended through 2011.
Information for each product is presented in a table that is broken out by
geographical region (North America, Europe, Japan, Asia/Pacific, and Rest of
World). Each product table includes breakouts of unit shipments for each
product by geographical region, regional percentage of worldwide shipments by
year, year-to-year growth of each product by region, and CAGR by region. The
report also includes additional detailed forecasts of product shipments by
region worldwide. This information is presented in tables and each product
category includes a graphical presentation of unit shipments through 2011.
