Abstract
This report offers a comprehensive picture of the lighting fixtures market in
Australia, providing basic data (production, consumption and international
trade) for both indoor and outdoor lighting, as well as data on the supply
structure of components and light sources and some determinants on the
lighting fixture demand.
A chapter of the report is dedicated to the trade policy the Australian
government pursues through bilateral and multilateral agreements.
Market shares of the leading manufacturers are provided by segment
(residential lighting, commercial lighting, industrial lighting, outdoor
lighting).
An analysis of distribution channels is provided for lighting fixtures,
together with short profiles of the leading Australian retailers and a
breakdown of lighting fixtures by channel for a sample of companies.
Reference prices are given for a selection of lighting products in residential
and commercial lighting segment, including the market price range. A section
provides information on magazines, fairs and internet sites on the Australian
