This report provides trends in upholstered furniture production and
consumption in 17 Western European countries. It also covers international
trade flows, prices, marketing policies, commercial distribution. The European
production of upholstered furniture is broken down by covering materials
(fabric, microfibre, leather), price range, product type, style and
destination.
Production breakdown by product type covers: upholstery suites, modular and
sectional upholstered furniture, sofas, sofa beds and occasional chairs.
Household and contract upholstered furniture are also considered.
