The retail sector recorded 21 M&A deals in February, a decrease of 56.2% as
compared with the six month (August 2007 - January 2008) average. However, in
value terms, retail sector recorded M&A transactions totaling US$4 billion in
February, an increase of 11.4% compared with the six month average.
