Abstract
The cinema markets of Central Europe have been radically transformed since the
opening of the region' s first multiplexes, a process that is now widening to
take in territories like Romania and Slovakia as well as the region' s core
markets. In the largest market, Poland, huge cinema development is continuing,
while rising screens and admissions in the Czech Republic will see the
territory move towards attendance rates on a par with some Western European
countries. Cinemagoing Central Europe has the facts and analysis you need to
make the most of the new opportunities that will arise during the next few
years in this dynamic market.
For the first time the 2007 report includes spreadsheets covering key industry
metrics from admissions and box office through tax rates to ancillary revenues
from screen advertising and concession stand sales, together with lists of the
cinemas of major circuits in the region.
