This Energy Insights report examines the recent advances in information
technology that are particularly applicable to the upstream oil and gas
industry, where the pace of technology investment is also picking up. The
report covers new and emerging software applications and hardware and systems
software, and provides insights into the rate of adoption that is expected for
each of the technologies reviewed. Finally, Energy Insights provides guidance
to oil and gas companies that are considering adoption of new technologies.
