Meeting Sudden Demand Created by Hurricanes Challenge Nonwoven Manufacturers
Every year a few hurricanes strike the south east coast of the United States. These hurricanes create an imbalance between demand and supply with the demand far exceeding the supply. This forces nonwoven manufacturers to operate at maximum efficiency at the same time maintaining the stringent standards as required by roofing manufacturers. The unpredictable nature of these hurricanes serves as a major challenge, especially to the smaller manufacturers who are not able to supply the nonwoven materials at the rate required by the building industry at the time of such crisis. Serving the roofing companies at the time of such crisis is also a differentiating factor for the large nonwoven companies
Natural Disasters Increase Reroofing Jobs
The continued occurrence of natural disasters creates continuous demand for reroofing. Every year United States witnesses natural disasters like hurricanes, hailstorms and tornadoes. This causes tremendous damage to both life an property. Residential and nonresidential roofs are affected in a big way due to this hence the demand for reroofing jobs.
Total Nonwovens in Roofing Market Expected to Grow at a CAGR of 3.2 Percent
There will always be demand for roofing jobs, hence this will create demand for nonwovens. It is quite unlikely that there is going to be a substitute to these nonwovens to provide support and dimensional stability in roofing. Hence as population of the United States increases and people flourish, the demand for nonwovens is only going to increase.
