Abstract
Despite the fierce competition and low levels of income and industrialization
in the Latin America region, the advent of TV digitalization, HDTV
broadcasting and the spread of broadband applications, such as VoIP and
e-learning is expected to boost the development of the Latin American
satellite services market.
