Abstract
This study covers the North American markets for automotive original equipment
chemical sensors. Demand generated by assembly of light vehicles (cars and
light trucks to 14,000 pounds) in Canada, Mexico, and the United States is
counted. Oxygen sensors (switch-type and wide-band) and NOx sensors are
detailed. Some related sensors are discussed briefly, including hydrocarbon
sensors, oil condition sensors, and particulate matter sensors.
