Abstract
This study analyzes the various semiconductor technologies inside set top
boxes as well as different platforms in set top boxes that play a key role in
the market. The semiconductors that are covered include Set Top Box Tuner,
Demodulator and Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG) Decoder. The base year for
this research service is 2006. For each of these technologies, revenue
forecasts are provided from 2006 to 2010.Various market dynamics such as
drivers, restraints, and challenges have also been discussed.
