Abstract
The term ' construction chemicals' covers a wide range of materials and is
commonly used to describe various products such as admixtures, waterproofing
compounds, and flooring compounds among others. The construction chemicals
industry in India is still in a nascent state with the per capita consumption
of construction chemicals being low in comparison to countries from Europe,
North America, and even Southeast Asia. For the sake of convenience, the
construction chemicals market has been delineated into various segments to
quantify it as Waterproofing, Cement Admixtures, Repair and Rehab Chemicals,
Flooring Compounds and so on.
