The biosensor industry has been making rapid strides for the past few years.
Biosensors are increasingly being used for a large number of diverse
applications ranging from home diagnostics to security and biodefence. Large
investments continue to be made into biosensor research. Single platform with
multipurpose testing applications are being developed. This market is
estimated to grow at a rapid pace offer the next seven years.
