Abstract
This research service provides growth forecasts for the market from 2003 to
2013 and an evaluation of each of the major chemical types of bioplastic. It
also analyses market shares including likely scenarios by 2013. In this
research, we examine the following product types: PLA, PHA' s and starch-based
polymers. There are of course many other bioplastic chemistries being
developed, but it is too early to forecast a market size for these.
Nevertheless, a selection of the most promising new technologies is also
profiled within the research.
