Abstract
Smart Cards across the world have taken off in the past few years, and enabled
a launching pad for the world contactless smart card market to truly take off
in the next few years. This research service looks at the trends across the
four regions, North America, Latin America, Europe and Middle East, and APAC.
The convenience and speed provided by contactless smart card platforms,
together with their high security and multiapplication capabilities make it an
excellent tool in the payment, access control, transit and government sector.
