Abstract

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has certainly experienced its share of growing pains sense its inception after September 11, 2001. While there have been problems, DHS budget funding has continued to increase and are highly likely to continue in the future as the many threats not only terrorism but also natural disasters will unlikely abate.
